Hi all

I was just about to order the Brodit cradle after reading the reviews and replies on the forum, but spotted another cradle on the 'Handnav' website, this being the Seidio Mount with Built-in Speaker. Has anyone used or bought one of these cradles, the idea of a built in speaker interests me or can you easily hear the voice commands direct from the PDA (ipaq 4150) whilst travelling (I know its dependant on speed / window open etc)

Many thanks in advance

Richard (again!)

Hi Rich,

I have a Seidio GS2500 mount for my HP2210 and it's plenty loud enough - at "normal" motorway speeds I don't have it turned up more than about one third volume.

Ive just got an arkon universal mount for my Toshiba E750. And am very happy, it came with a long suction arm and a vent mount. The cradle has a powered speaker, can charge the PDA nad has a USB power out that I can plug the fortuna clip-on into to charge that. They are £30ish on ebay. The arm is very heavy duty and works a treat in my mondeo and the 110csw landrover. Another handy thing is the cig power plug is a right angled one so doesent stick out and get in the way of the gearstick. AM looking at mounting the gps on the arm near the suction pad. Also came with a couple of power adapters for various pda's and a sticky plate that can be attached to trim to stick the suction mout on to.
