seems like many of the WAAS-enabled bluetooth GPS
receivers don't have WAAS activated by default, but
that you have activate it with the included software (which is usually either PC or PPC).
Can you activate WAAS from a palm or mac? Or is the
only way to do it from a pocket PC or PC?
I realize that WAAS may not be important for
automobile navigation, but i plan to use the GPS for
aviation navigation, where the extra accuracy of WAAS
may be helpful. |

We have to (ashamedly) admit that we don't know of any such software. You'll need to use a PC or PocketPC to set the receiver. _________________ Lutz

I'm not sure if it does or not, but you might want to check out http://www.macgpspro.com and let us know if it supports WAAS switching. |
