Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have always had an inbuilt car sat nav but I have recently got a lease car so I cannot have an inbuilt system,

I just wondered what is a good sat nav out there that will meet my requirements.

I have a Drive-Smart speed camera detector and it looks like the companies about to fold so I would like one we continuous speed camera updates with Specs cameras if possible.

The other thing I would like is Traffic warnings; however I would prefer not to do it by phone if possible. However if I need to I have a Sony Ericsson K800I on 3 and I have 1GB internet allowance per month.

I have been looking at the TomTom GO 520 as this has a TMC receiver so means I would not need to plug it into my phone.

Or should I pay £30 more for the 720 to get Map Share™ technology. However what I don’t understand is someone does put road block, does this remained blocked until someone tells it that’s its now open, as this may take some time.

Or should I go for something more like this. Road Angel 9000

Or are there any other suggestions.

I would also like if possible as my other sat nav did it.

On the display it told me my next 3 turnings, so this enabled me to get in the correct lanes quicker.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

To start you off with a suggestion or two, although there will be others, have a look HERE where you can check the maps, screenshots and specs.

Or HERE which is the equivalent Mio.
