In May we travelled to Hungary by car and we're going again next month to meet our new grandson for the first time. I bought the European map discs for my iCN520 and it had to be the best £90odd I've ever spent! My wife is the first to admit she's not the world's best mapreader but the 520 took us straight to our hotels in Aachen, Regensburg, Vienna, Stuttgart and Reims, each time in the late afternoon rush hour, without any problems. Never again would I try such a trip without satnav but it's a pity it stops working at the Hungarian border!
Exactly where satnav's come into there own, esp where you need to rely so heavily on them. I'm sure that everywhere else closer to home you use it, the habit of ignoring the odd instruction is ever present? _________________ Dom

I thoroughly agree! My experience echos yours - my device died at the Slovenian border. However, you could also have bought the Eastern European maps which cover Poland, Cz Slovakia and Hungary! It is another £99 but as you have found, good value. I am now waiting for later this year when, I believe the Slovenian and Croatian maps are due out. _________________ Gee-Pee
