Yes it has been confirmed to work on that device by a number of forum users, your dilema is that should you encounter a problem the device isn't officially supported by TomTom so you will be offered no support by them (plenty of help on here though Wink ) - Mike

Certainly does work and was very handy when I got lost on a charity bike ride last weekend. Quickly fired TT6 up and got back on track. However, it didn't warn me about the 1 in 10 hill I had to cycle up.

Who said Essex is flat !!

See the "Can't navigate to longitude/latitude" post if you want that feature!

Thanks guys.

Did any of you find the screen on the E65 a bit small for navigating in the car?

Not using it in the car myself. Got a TomTom One for that.

i would think it would be quite small and depending upon the phone how easy it is to use the keyboard to select various options whilst driving. A bit too dangerous for me.

Just handy to have if I'm out walking or cycling.

Humm, I never thought of the size of the keyboard, that could be very tricky!

I use e65 with tomtom in my car and its great.
previously I used N73. They both have the same screen size and resolution which i think is more than ample.

also - you shouldn't be using the keyboard whilst driving although I find it fine

I've also just upgraded to a E65 from a 6630.

TT6 runs fine on the E65, and the screen size is about the same as the 6630, but colours are brighter thanks to the higher resolution. I've also bought a Brodit holder (specifically for E65) which holds it very securely on the dashboard of the car

I have all the pocketgpsworld speed cams loaded, plus the doctored .CHK file. I've not yet been able to get the OGG files to work.

Strangely, the E65+TT6 has more of a "map lag" than the 6630+TT5. By this I mean the the map takes slightly longer to update when you're driving along, which makes driving through complicated junctions a bit of a pain. I'm suprised at this because I thought the processor on the E65 would be much more powerful and therefore able to update the display more quickly.
