If the CD is genuine (normally this stuff comes on a DVD...) it will contain the installer program. _________________ Lutz

Almost certainly not a legal TomTom kit. They either come on DVD or SD card and in either case will start the installation process automatically on insertion (Assuming you haven't turned off the facility in Windows). The subject has been done to death here before but no-one is allowed to sell-on their TomTom kit with a device.
I suggest you return it to the supplier if at all possible - or let TomTom know about it. _________________ Phil |

I can't remember, but did we agree that you could 'give it away...free' ? I have a very old PDA which may soon be surplus to requirements...the private stuff I will delete...but my son could do with it.
On a more morbid topic...when we all 'pop off' then, just what are our next of kin supposed to do with all this stuff?...send it back to TT ? And all the other s/ware that we've accumulated over the years ? |

That's a good one. On the other hand - this will no longer be your concern, it is SEP (someone else's problem) _________________ Lutz
