Please can some tell me why the TOMTOM XL Regional edition has a Hammerhead GPS receiver and the Europe edition has a SRF-III chipset as stated on TomToms web site and other retailers sites many thanks

Probaby covering their options (like until recently) using Navteq and teleatlas mapping.
