I've got an O2 branded N73 here with TT6 on it and it runs perfectly? My ROM version is v2.0628.0.0.1

Me too
Got my phone 3 days ago and it works like a dream.
It might be down to your memory card.
I bought mine from MobyMemory (2 GB) and went for the High Speed one.
It was only £18.99 and i have had no problems.
Infact i am really impressed with the new version of TomTom

There is a very simple way of making your N73 unbranded to get the better firmware or even change it into the music edition which is what i did.
You simply change the product code with a bit of free software and that tricks the Nokia site into giving you the better firmware.

Google is your friend

Then that is the second stock response ;)

Then I say, I'm not bloody well going to invalidate my warranty!

Your choice but it works fine and you can reverse the process by simply changing the product code back to the standard o2 code and connecting to the nokia software updater

Well if anyone does want to rid themselves of the o2 firmware problems

1) Download NSS (Nemesis Service Suite Beta) http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm
2) Download NSU (Nokia Software Updater) from Nokia support
3) Connect your phone to computer, and choose PC-Suite mode in your mobile
4) Start NSS
5) Push "Scan for new device"
6) Go to Phone Info screen. Enable the product code box in the right corner. Change the number there to N73 Unbranded product code number 0527009 and copy that number into that product code box and then click that enable box. (note your original N73 product code by clicking read first , in case if you need it again). Then click WRITE, and in few seconds click READ, and you'll see that your phones product code has changed.
7) Then exit NSS and start NSU and follow the steps.
8) Wait for your mobile to update.

If you want to make your phone a music edition use product code 0537289

I also am with o2 and would like to try to update my N73 with the latest firmware, but I can't get to download from this site. (http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm) When I click the link I go to the page, then select the 'zip icon' (Nemesis Service Suite Beta 1.0.38.8 5,45 MB) at the bottom of the page, this then takes me to another page "visit our software page to download the latest version" when I click the link on this page it takes me to the page I just left. It seems I'm going in circles (story of my life) Any answers / solutions please ??
