Now we have our new section we can only keep this going (and our DS units) if we can crack the database problem.

I'm sure there must be an "expert" out there who can tweak the PGPS files to a hex file.

I have a convertor that will convert a CSV file to a HEX file, but I lack the knowledge to being able to play with the files when they either don't work or the DS locks up, as no doubt will happen. We need to know what is in the original CSV files to start with!

I know that Wayne alias WLMOATE has started this but had some problems. How far have you got Wayne?

I'm not sure where we start here, but anybody any ideas?

Hi

I have got a little a further and can now get it to load a group of co ordinates. But it is not a standard CSV file which should have a comma as the seperator. Instead they have used a semi colon.

I think the problem is also compounded by a error in the DS loader.

an SCSV (semi-colon separated values)?! novel approach!

if you get it sussed and let us know then we should be able to release a file set specifically for the DS

Hi Guy's,

I'm not a DS user, but do understand the difficulty here.

Have you tried opening/writing the file with microsoft excel? Try it.

Basically:- Start excel, open the csv file. The program will identify that it is text based and you can then specify the delimiter. Once edited you just reverse the process.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
