Been sat there in the car for over an hour plugged into an ariel and still no signal! Not even a glimmer. The little yellow/black indicator is spinning, albeit slowly
Many thanks |

So you have the yellow/ blue disk spinning (top right) - can you try at baud speed 9600 and see if that makes a difference, also could you say what com port setting you have chosen - Mike |

Thanks for the fast reply
Wll try 9600 as you suggest. Have not slected a Comm port but the NavMan sleeve. (Think I tried the com 3 and the yellow/black did not spin) |

You don't mention the exact hardware you are playing with, but the software driver you mention has cropped up before, please have a read through This Page - perhaps you need an even higher baud speed? - Mike |

I'm using an iPAQ 3870 and a NavMan SE sleeve (which I used sucessfully with TomTom 5) The iPAQ has been upgraded to 2003 and I have loaded the 3.1.6 driver (which overcame the "unrecognized card....." eror message)
Will try a number of baud rates
Thanks |

Picked up satellites very fast at 56000 baud, then took about 20 mins for the 1st lock.
Many thanks for your help! |
