No Driver Files

Hello,

All installed and working fine.

Only thing i noticed is that under 'Mounted Volume' file there as no driver files as there were on previous installations.

Is this a problem??

I have/had the same problem
Did I miss something?
How did you fix it?

I used HP4700 with SOC CF Memory III 512MB
No problems with TT5, Ozi and Russa

On holiday I broke SOC unit- the GPS bit bent on the CF bit - long story - but terminal prognosis!

Got new SOC CF III 1GB
Tried and still trying to install driver/get GPS alive!
E.g Put CD in PC & went through driver install steps - put SOC in CF slot - made alarm noise-message says modem detected - do you want to connect to internet or work-dismiss message. No red light on SOC
Did reinstall - says files exist - choose reinstall/upgrade anyway
Tried this again!
Looked in PDA file explorer
Mounted Volume appears and is empty
Copied Word doc to MV and that appeared/read ok
Went back to install cd and tried uninstall - files in use but no running programs!

Did hard reset and repeated all above
Same again!

Eventually red light flashes intermittently then stops
Left out in clear view - sometimes flashes - sometimes not - never fixes

I assume the driver is there even if I can't find/see it
Can I find it on CD and copy it myself? Where to?
What happens if I want to reinstall driver in field? I've once had PDA do hard reset all by itself!
Why won't GPS flash - never mind fix?
