Viewsonic V37 - MyFlashDisk

I have a Viewsonic V37, which originally had pocket PC 2002.

I have now upgraded it to Pocket PC 2003 and it's made is a lot faster, although I had to download a seperate serial drive to get my GPS Mouse to work with it.

However I'm interested in running iGO Sat Nav software but I find it says from time to time run out of memory.

The Viewsonic V37 seems to have a lot of space set aside for a drive called my flash disk in fact there is 36MB of empty space on it.

I am assuming this is some kind of virtual drive? How can I get rid of this or reduce the size to allocate more space to the main memory of the pocket pc, or is this memory totally different?

Also I've found in the last few days sometimes when I turn on the pocket PC the system may lock up and the only way to set it back is a total hard reset, thus losing all settings, and programs, anyone know what might be wrong? the main battery is fully charged, I opened it up and looked inside but couldn't see a backup battery but it may have been under the main battery which was glued down and I didn't want to pul this out.
