Cameras Lagg GNAV10

Hi all .. i have a Goodmans GNAV10 and when selecting the Navigator it takes approximatly 5 seconds to boot load the UK map and be ready for use .. however when the speed cameras for the UK are loaded it takes approximatly 15 minutes to load the map .. when it up its ok however if i have to go out and change an option such as sound level it takes again 15 minutes to load the map again .. when the cameras arnt loaded its almost instant .. any ideas why this is ?

also i think my maps are out of date as i do have both cd's but i think there from 2003 as my destinator console says Destinator Console Version 5. im not sure wht i need to buy to upgrade this, do i have to buy destinator 6 and new maps or do i just need new maps ?
