Is it possible to select a position from the map, and tell D6 to "navigate to" that point?

By the same token, is it possible to select a point on a map and add it as a favourite?

My mum lives in the middle of nowhere- the postcode isn't recognised and it's about 2/3 of the way along a minor road. I want to add her house into my favourites, and at the moment I can't figure out how to do it.

Most street routing programs will only allow POIs on or close to streets. You'll have to set the POI accordingly.

Report map errors to the map providers - only reporting will help to eventually improve the data.

How about setting a POI from a lat/long position? How can I do this is D6?

Assuming you're using a Pocket PC, my free OS GPS Convertor utility will do it:

Be warned that I have never used Destinator, but added in support for it at the request of a user on this forum about 18 months ago, who spent a fair bit of time getting it to work. If it doesn't work for your version of Destinator, I'd need your technical input to make it work!
Good luck

Thanks Barry, that looks like exactly the sort of thing I'm after. I'll let you know how I get on so you can get some feedback as to how it works in D6.

You can tap on a point on the map whilst navigating and a window pops up with "Go there", "Add to favourites" and something else which I can't remember. Wouldn't that serve your needs?
