Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong space. Re Tom Tom's recent announcement of a BT GPS unit available here next month, they say it will work with any BT enabled PDA. Would anyone know if this means it will work with PDAs which have been BT-enabled via the CF slot, e.g. Axim, or is it likely to mean it will only work with PDA with built-in BT such as the LOOX ? Does anyone know if the battery will be removable? Tried raising thhese questions with Tom Tom but failed. Thanks for any comment. Tony.

Yes it will work with any BT CF card.

Thanks, Dave. Can I just clarify that please? Doesn't TT's GPS &/or mapping software have to be installed on the CF card ? If so, presumably that wouldn't be possible if the slot is occupied by the BT card. Will TT's GPS &/or mapping software instal equally well on the Aximm's SD card? I have the feeling that Travroute's software needs to instal via a clear CF slot and I thought that would be the case with TT too. Thanks for any further input. Cheers, Tony.

TTNav maps can be installed to either CF or SD Card as well as physical memory if you have enough! It is important that the application itself is installed to physical memory and not memory cards.
