Hello to all, who can help me (and those only viewing).

I am in the market to buy a aftermarket navigation system. I have read all the probs with PDA devices (freezing, resetting etc) and do not want to splash out on portable GPS as I don't require this at the moment.

I would like a system with a separate screen as I don't have space on my console to fit a motorized one, and have known people with in-car dvd motorized systems where the motor fails.

I have read a few reviews on the Panasonic CN-DV2300+CY-VMR5800, Alpine NVE-N099P+TME-M710 and the Kenwood KNA-DV3200+LZ-7500 but cannot decide on the right one?

Any help, much greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Only just noticed this thread, so apologies. Recently bought the new Garmin powered Kenwood satnav kna-g520. Can interface with single or double din head units. Would highly recommend it and much prefer the interface (like a Garmin nuvi/streepilot) over the usual in car systems.

Not sure if this is allowed, but you can see some pictures of my install Post 26

Regards

Tosty.
