SmartST 2005 on iCN520 HELP !!!

I recently bought myself what I thought was a bargain, an ICN 520 with SmartST 2005 (v3 ?) on it. Having paid just £120 for it in as new condition, I have just encountered a problem...

It has UK an Ireland maps on it, but I'm going to Spain soon so I want to put France and spain street maps on there.

Apparently I need to buy the maps on CD (I am told), which is no problem, then install them by synchronising with my laptop using SmartST desktop or something.

The problem is I didn't get any software CD's with the Navman. I only got the unit and accessories. I can't see how to get this software, and I understand that it might need to be "registered" to my unit ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you may have to go to the Navman site and purchase a new copy of the software.
Thats what i had to do when i purchased a second hand unit some 12 months back.

The software and maps are available on special off at £69 from the NavMan Shop site, this is a saving of £30 on the usual prise.
The map discs are coded 2004.2 so they are not completely up to date but they are the latest available for the ICN520. New maps are due for release in late September 2006.
