Hi there
I've been trying to install the camera database onto my Palm treo 650 with no luck. When I put the SD card into the PC and try and access it, it says 'format card now?'. I have made sure the card in unlocked. I have a similar problem when trying to drag the files onto the card.
Any ideas
Thanks

If you choose No, are you able to see any Files on the Card with Explorer?
How much Free Space have you got on the Card?
What is your Operating System on the PC?
All the answers, and any other information, will help us, to help you.;) _________________ Richard

Have you tried another Card, to see if you have the same problem? _________________ Richard

It recognises all other SD cards. It is almost like I am locked out (ie read only) for copyright reasons. If I insert the card into my phone it works perfectly. On the treo TomTom autoloads from the card. There is no installation.
Any suggestions? Do u think the card is faulty? And if it is, why does it work perfectly on the phone?
Thank again |

The only thing I can think of, is that it has formatted the Card in a way that Windows doesn't know! Which leaves me stumped.
Hopefully someone, who has a 650, will come along with helpful suggestions. _________________ Richard

Don't know why your having a problem but I might have a solution :D
Download an evalution copy of Card Export II from Softick and install it on your Treo. Run it with your Treo connected to your PC and it should pop up as a drive in Explorer, copy the files across and disconnect.
