Its easy and very cheap. Just strip out an old nokia 3310 or something simular. Open TomTom and remove all the unwanted plastic from behind the screen. Now the stripped out mobile (board form) will sit neatly behind the screen. Just power it from TT battery (if someone nicks it they will charge up the phone!) now subscibe to trackerphone or followus www.followus.co.uk/ .....job done :-)

just a note regarding butter post opening up your tomtom could invalidate any warrenty you have on the device so if you do this and it goes wrong dont be surprised i tomtom wont honur there warrenty

Hi All,

I wonder how much of this stuff ends up on ebay? When I was looking a while back it was odd how many are missing boxes / CDs etc.

Basically all the stuff that wouldn't have been in the car.

I suppose the issue is with the sort of people who would nick this stuff anyway, pin codes and suchlike won't put them off I fear. I once had a window smashed for a couple of quid change I left in the center console. Wouldn't mind but the car wasn't locked Smile

Obvioously from the shallow end of the gene pool.
