Is there some software of some trick to rearranging the icons?
It's silly I know but when I want to "Navigate to" I want the "postcode on screen one and the "Point of Interest" on screen two, basically swap them.
The 7 digit postcode search is possably the most usefull function ever, and the reason I went to TT one.

Silly I know but any help would be appriciated, thanks.

you cannot rearrange submenus. But you might be able to take the desired item from the submenu and put it into the main menu. Try the online menu generator.

Download this Menu Builder from the site below, it's very good:

Appriciate that, but the one Icon that's missing is the Postcode one.
So god knows what will happen if I install a new menu, so thanks but I'll need something else ... if it exists Question

Could you explain that please, so a small child who is blind could understand Wink

I would really like to get this menu customized to to my way of working, rather than the other way round.

Cheers

I think unplugged may have got the wrong end of the stick....
If I understand correctly, you are saying that the Postcode icon is missing from the menu builder application, but he thinks that it is greyed out on your unit, (as it would be if the postcode files he mentions were not on your TomTom).

It's a shame that the menu builders don't seem to have ALL the icons available, but it might be worth trawling back through this and the Mytomtomgo forums, because there was quite a bit of inestigative work done on them a few monthsa ago, and some extra undocumented bits were found. Also I think the on-line and the download versions of the menu builder were slightly different too.

100% correct mate, on the "Menubuilder" there is no postcode Icon, so without it, the whole exercise is pointless 'for me'

So if someone knows the work around, I'll appriciate it :D

I have downloaded this menu builder and having created a custom menu, my 'Navigate to Postcode' works fine. There is no icon for it, because the option is accessed via the 'Navigate to" icon. Perhaps I'm missing your point. Can you clarify it please ?

I'll try 8O

Right then I wanted to use the Menu builder so when I "Navigate to.." I wanted "Postcode on the 1st page not the 2nd as it's the most popular option I use.
On the "Navigate to" page 1 there's Home, Favourite, address, Recent & POI
I want the POI moved to page 2 and Postcode moved to page 1

The rest of the icon layout is fine as now I got it set up I don't need to alter it much

Ahhhh.. Sorry, I was a bit thick before. To my knowledge, you can re-arrange all the main menu icons to your heart's content, but sub-menu icons are stuck and only accessible via the main icons.
