I have tried this on my Suzuki Bandit 1200 . Quite simply it doesnt, it crashes or locks up . After 5 resets in 20 miles i gave up ! Hard drives dont like vibrations Embarassed

if you were considering the 269+ ... why not the 268+, essentially the same kit with the data stored on an SD card (1Gb dirt cheap these days)

Hi

I use my mio 269+ on my bike all the time with NO ill efects, I have a very stable platform mind you in my BMW R1150RT, the mount on the fork tops is perfect and i get NO weather issues behind the fairing of the BMW at all, maybe on less stable platforms of some of the japanese machinery will give you issues.

Regards

thanks for the replys everyone, i got a 268plus at a very good price and im very pleased with it. not had a chance to use it for a proper trip yet "bloody weather". my sv will be nowhere near as stable as a bm so i think i made the right choice. what do you use for the sound as i find it a bit low on the bike so i got some noise reduction earpeices from maplin they ok till about 50 then wind noise is to much.
