520 premium edition maps

I went berserk at xmas and bought the 520 premium edition, which I
read had 16 european street level maps on the supplied cds. As I am going to Portugal shortly I bought another SD card and transferred the
Portugal map onto it, but when I fired up the 520 all I could get was major
roads and street level maps only of major towns!! I checked the memory size of the map and it was only 19mb. It is the same for the areas of Spain that I transferred, no small roads out of town or villages etc. Do
Navman call major roads 'street level'

I'm pretty sure you can only install extra maps via SmartST desktop.
