303III in CF vs. Mouse mode...

I'm having problems using this device in CF mode only. Mouse mode works just fine. I'm usng OCN5 (navigon), and for whatever reason I can establish a connection in CF mode, however, the moment I begin to interact with the software, ("move" the map or enter a destination) the connection drops.

Either a re-insertion of the card or a restart of the app solves the problem, but needless to say, this is annoying.

Using OCN5 on a WM5.0 device FWIW.

Anyone else experience this oddity?

I have a 303III (ipaq3950/CF expansions sleeve) and it is very tempermental in starting up.
I have spent alot of time trying to get it to aquire then other times it starts straight away.
Reading the other posts on this model sounds like there my be problems with CF mode.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
