There are some similar threads to this explaining similar issues, but here's my problem.

I have an IPAQ 5500 and currently use TTN5, but what i am finding happen is that TTN5 takes ages to even realise the receiver is connected and ages to actually start planning aroute because of this.

I have seen an upgrade for some third party gps receivers, but nothing that seems to explain my problem with Tom Toms own gps receiver. Sad

My second issue is i cannot currently upgrade to 5.10 i have tried the zipped file and the exe, but niether work, and i can't turn off the firewall on my works PC that functionality has been disabled, does anybody know of another way to get this to work, i have never had this problem before using the same PC and firewall. Sad

My third and final query is probably the easiest to sort out, but unfortunately i havent yet found away round it, lets say for instance i wished to travel to a road called Chuchill Road for which there are incidently two in Kettering, when i type in the name i eventually get to two Churchill Roads with the Post code NN15.... I cannot physically see the last three characters of the postcode on the screen and it's bugging me stupid, how to i get to see the end of the postcode to confirm i am actually going to the one i need? Embarassed

Many Thanks in advance!

it's quite simple really ,had to do it this way a few times myself
download the zip file unzip in a floder
run the .exe but close it once it's started
you will then see some more files in your folder ,go though them and find the cab files copy them to your ppc where you can see them and run each 1 reset and you done

The answer to your last point is to click and hold you stylus on the text, you will get the complete post code. You can still slide the stylus up and down to check other options.
