Baud and com settings for Mapopolis using TT3 bluetooth

I have downloaded Mapoopolis in preparation for a trip to the US but can't get it to recognize my Tom tom bluetooth receiver. According to the settings on my HP 1940 it shows inbound COM port 8 and Outbound COM port 5. Auto detect doesn't seem able to find it in Mapopolis and when I set it manually to COM port 5 it says this port is unavailable. Does anyone have any bright ideas about what is going on? Also where can I find the baud rate for my receiver. It is the standard grey coloured item that came with TT Navigator.
