Order is still at the warehouse, no change. Ho hum...

Let's hope there's a pile of boxes at the door waiting for the UPS pickup tomorrow...

I've emailed TT as follows:

I phoned TomTom last week concerning my order as it has been a long time (5 weeks since ordering tomorrow). Note when I ordered this product, the website said 5 weeks for delivery, not 5 weeks for delivery once payment had been taken.
The helpful customer support agent on the phone said the product would be shipped sometime 22-24th July.

This hasn't happened. Could you please tell me when this is going out before 5pm GMT tomorrow (26th July).
Otherwise I will be writing a complaint letter to your customer services and persuing a refund through my Credit Card company.

I've really had enough, I don't care how good it is, I'm not waiting any longer after tomorrow Evil or Very Mad

My tomtom (for smartphone) did not ship as I was informed either (should have shipped by last Sunday according to tomtom).

Just out of interest, when was the last time anyone in the UK received their product? And when did they place their order? When was it shipped? And was it smartphone or S60?

This information may give some indication of when we can expect ours, as tomtom "support" do not tend to give accurate information.

I got an update saying they were going to chase up my order this morning, but Carl (CJackel492) said his took another week from that email.
I tried every hour yesterday to get through on the phone with no success...

Just an update on my order...

Having eventually got through to tomtom, I have been informed that my order is due to be dispatched on August 4th. When I asked them last week they said it would be dispatched on 23rd or 24th July. They say that they cannot speed this up in any way.

Well done for getting through, I've been trying two days with no success...

Given what's gone on so far, I wonder how much of a guarantee the August 4th date is as well?

I received an email from TomTom yesterday (28th July) saying that my order had shipped. The email included a UPS tracking number. I placed the order on 18th July, which means 10 days from order to despatch.

Sorry, should have mentioned that.... it was the Smartphone version, for the SPV C500 in case that makes any difference e.g. due to the type / size of memory card.

Mine was the smartphone (C500) edition too, but I ordered mine on June 20th, and it is still in the warehouse. I don't know how they decide the order in which they are dispatched, but it definitely is one First in First out... By the way, are you in the UK? As location may have some effect in when orders are dispatched.

Just to let you know I called tomtom yesterday (about 4pm on 1st August) and asked them when my shipping date is, and they said they had it on their system as 1st August.

It is now August 2nd and my status is still warehouse... Sad

They changed my question to be 'answered' yesterday, when there was no answer!
They said on Friday they would do their utmost to ship it then, but mine's still at Warehouse.

I airmailed my complaint letter on Thursday. Should be there by now...

Might try phoning them later.... Rolling Eyes

Got an email reply this afternoon saying they were trying to get logistics to send it asap.

Then about 10 minutes later, got a phone call from the person who sent it - trying to explain how she's been onto logistics several times. So my 42p (air mail stamp) got me a phone call...
I get the impression from her their system isn't exactly very impressive in terms of forecasting orders. And the logistics department don't seem very forthcoming...

They've told her it'll go out tomorrow - now who's a betting sort?!

Oh and getting a refund? It's so far through the system now, I'd have to wait for it to be dispatched, then send it back to be credited. rofl
