I have noticed that there are many camera locations missing, even after downloading the latest files, so I have been thinking. Is there anyway I can have the PDA/GPS (iPaq 3970/SysonChip BT) and appropriate software set so that everytime I pass a camera I can press one of the five buttons that captures the location. These locations could then be uploaded into a simple database maintained on a webserver, such as at PocketGPS. If this facility existed it would be a very simple process for getting more of the locations updated.

It is possible to do that with Checkpoint on TTN3.

Not sure if Checkpoint works with TTN5.

Any idea when Checkpoint might achieve compatibility with TT5?

To quote the checkpoint site:

"A lot of people ask if CheckPOInt works in combination with the new TomTom Navigator 5.0. The short answer is: no. Until now TomTom has not released a software development kit for version 5.0. Until they do, it's not possible to release a new version of CheckPOInt that can cooperate with TomTom 5.0."
