Dux, Once the Favourites list goes over certaine number of items then the Keyboard will appear. If you delete some of your favourites then you will have a full screen without a keyboard

Ah right - that explains why my workmate's GO doesn't have the problem - he only has 3 favourites. I think I'll follow the advice given by sgould and do it via POI instead.

Addendum - I've just converted all my Favourites to a POIs in a new category - and it's working great. I actually prefer this method because the list appears in distance order, and shows me the approx distance to the address in the list.

And more importantly...that keyboard only appears when I ask it to!

Thanks for this suggestion - it's so simple I never even thought of doing it that way!
