tomtom says there is no gps device.. i've tried to configure it, but when i used to have tomtom 3 installed i used the tomtom gps and it was connected to navman 3000 under com 5. there are no options on the options in tomtom 5....

what do I need to do in order for them to communicate with one another....
Arhhh... please help me....

after playing for days with the 3450 reciever i would say chuck tt5 in the bin. Have a look down the forums and there are lots of people with a similar problem!

It just doesnt work.

1. Install the GPS3000 driver from your original SmartPath discs.
2. Install TT5.
3. Select "Other Cable NMEA GPS".
4. Set GPS baud rate to 57600.
5. Select "NavMan GPS" as your device.

And then wait. Even if it says 'No GPS device' then wait. I did and eventually got a fix.
