Power for Dell Axim - Please Help

I have just purchased a Dell Axim X5/TomTom 2 software (with GPS arial).



I didn't realise that the arial needed to be powered by the cigar lighter in the car, but doesn't charge the Dell, hence the PDA battery keeps going flat.



Does anybody know of a neat way or recommend any kit that will power the GPS arial and power the Dell at the same time...

Are you sure that it does not power the Axim?

Is it one single unit? Then it should.

That is the case with all other models.

Indeed it certainly should power the Axim. You may have a faulty unit there.
