I have a iPAQ 3850 running TTNav2 and it is currently mounted via a iPAQ 3600 standard sleeve and a home made bracket (which then slides into the air vent). I have just got hold of a 5gb PCMCIA card and PCMCIA jacket. Not wanting to dismantle the jacket has anyone got any suggestions for mounting this baby into my car (preferably using a home made bracket into the air vent)?

Thanks

Have a look at the vent mount from www.theclip.com. All you need to do is attach the supplied button to your jacket and you're done. I use one with both a CF+ sleeve and a standard cover pack and it works fine. The drawback is that your iPAQ won't then lie flat on a desk. I got round this by attaching the button to the detachable blanking plate on the CF+ sleeve so that I can choose between button or external battery. If the sleeve you've got has an external battery you might be able to do something similar. Other people have also used velcro to good effect.

I agree with Scott, theclip vent mount is good (a review is here) or the one I prefer that also uses a similar type mount is the Arkon CM429 (review here) which allows you to just slip your Pocket PC with sleeves into the mount without having to attach any buttons to the back of your sleeve.
