Best part of fifty quid to get speed camera updates! Do me a favour!
I hope that despite TomTom's offering that the PocketGPS database maintains it's excellent quality :D

I'd like to know how many cameras are in the TomTom database before shelling out fifty quid. I think the PocketGPS database is great, but we all know that there are still gaps in it, and the prospect of a complete database is appealling. So, anyone out there like to find out?

And to top it all they are asking you to report new cameras to them.
Surely thats what your paying them the £48 a year to do. 8O

Will we still be able to use the POCKETGPS Camera database & checkpoint with TOMTOM Navigator 5 when it does eventually get released? Or will we be forced to user TOMTOMs version of the camera database which we have to pay for?

Regards,

Nazim

Myself, I cannot see how the TTN database can be comprehensive as they say it is. Were did they get the data from, how did they verify it out on the road, and they want us to maintain and keep it up to date, whilst charging us £48 a year for the privilege. I dont think so.

Keep up the excellent work on the Pocketgps camera database.

Does anyone know why the UK Traffic service is so much more expensive than the other countries? It seems to be €59.95 pa for UK versus €29.95 for (say) Netherlands.

Do we know there sources.. I reads the TT website and am tempted to ask for the details.. Anyone here know before I fire off an email.. I already use Trafcam, which will not work with TTN5, so I would be looking for another database...But if I thought they had ripped off the Pocketgps one, I would not be a happy boy!
