Ok - I've got things working
The 2Gb SD card was not write protected, and had about 450 Mb of free space, and could have files read from and written to in Windows XP. There were no hidden files.

Hi Folks -
Recently had a service done by Satmap, and the unit came back with 1.5 installed. I was used to having routes saved to the SD card as both the .map and the Raw.gpx formats.

Just tried the new Route Planner using FireFox 3.0.6 on Ubuntu 8.04.
All seemed to work OK, and a planned route was correctly saved with the .gpx extension. |

I mailed SatMap, and they replied that the Mac was the priority, and maybe will work on Linux later. I reminded them that the Linux Driver Project offers free device driver development ... |
