Does any one know of a way to delete the navigation history list? It's not available through the menu. Wondered if there was a file that could be deleted.
The device is the X-950 with v6.0

| It WAS the UK & Ireland map I was trying to cut. So I guess, until a fix is posted, it only remains to load the whole map. I'd be interested to hear if any-one HAS a fix. Thanks for your interest |

Static Navigation has to be disabled. It can be done by using the software indicated in the article from the following link.

| This particular unit....Socket OEM GPS, is very slow to obtain a fix. Fortunately, it has a hardware switch and doesn't power down if no fix is present. So the best bet is to switch it on at least 10 ... |

When I was using TomTom3, I believe there was a registry tweak that enabled tom tom, or any other bluetooth gps program, to toggle the bluetooth on at start, and off when exiting the program.
