I downloaded the Western Europe App and at first the camera alerts worked fine but then suddenly the POI and the alerts have vanished.

It's quite happy with any DRM that I have thrown at it but I have never tried .aa files.

Maybe worth downloading a trial to see if it works ?

A bit of "thinking outside the box"

try using Tunebite to convert them to mp3 and then just put them in the mp3 folder.

I have a TT730 and have lots of files with music, podcasts and audiobooks converted to MP3.

I use windows explorer to put the files onto the TT - look for a file called "mp3".

I can't understand ...

It's even easier than flashing the iPod, you can increase the track volume using iTunes.

Right Click on the track or tracks and then "Get Info" - you can increase the volume in the pop up box.

Yeah - 3 years ago with no experience of satnavs or forums it seemed like a good name but having had 4 Garmins (i3, 510D, 310 and 660FM) and now onto TomTom (730T) it doesn't make much sense.

I did what Mike suggested, although I was lazy and just let windows rename all the files as "Copy of..." when I did copy and paste.

Great gadget and I love gadgets so yes I have it on, but I could cope with "take next exit" spoken to me ! Laughing
