Reviving a fairly old thread because the iGO txt file method doesn't work on my AVIC-F940BT.
The POIBase database is pathetic and I'd rather give you guys the subs than continue paying for a DBase ... |

| this post is getting a bit old and I'm surprised nobody has pointed out that GPS on the 4 is light years ahead of the 3GS! the 4S is about equal to the 4, so you're bound to see improvement over the 3 ... |

This could be the same problem I had.
Thanks for the update timps! Mine may be a similar issue as my Tomtom app doesn't work either ..but strangely my Google Maps and Navigon apps work just fine.
