May not be the way you are trying to do this, but you can open up the contacts.txt using notepad on your PC, edit & save, then copy back to your Tomtom.

Great tip flasher :D :D - it also worked with the celebrity voices images :D :D .
Found a quicker way to do it though instead of doing each one individually, - select all of the images, then rig ... |

Yes you will lose your phone settings, but you can do a back up to your memory card first :D

Yes I get it & I'd guess all N70 owners  & no fix out for it yet. I've now got the generic firmware - V5.0616.2.0.3 _ 24-04-06 _ RM-84 on my N70. |

I doubt it for the N70, after the problem I had with my N70 & Go 500 the N70 was removed from the compatability list for the new range as tomtom were unable to solve the problem.
