I don't see why the data should be smaller whether the TomTom says the verbose, or succinct version of the road name. It still needs to know what it is.

I find the verbose terribly annoying ... ma ...

After some deliberation .... RDS-TMC may be the answer if HD Traffic doesn't come out before August.

Does RDS-TMC work on minor roads that have a fair amount of traffic, or is it just motorways/du ...

Maybe I am alone, but the update to my 720 worked fine. Speech recognition worked, mapshare worked, PGPS Speed Cams still worked.

It's stupid to withdraw the Navcore 8 due to the Lane Guidance op ...
