I couldn't really say that I've had problems with signal loss on my Q1 but it has been an ocassional issue, especially near trees or near high buildings.

Anyway, I wouldn't have bothered paying out ...

I think we all know that you can get the ocassional incorrect speed reading caused by a 'spike' when the sat signal gets lost then picked up again, but my most recent spurious reading is my best yet.. ...

I've had a quick browse at CN 8 in Mapsource .. Spain looks ok to me.. hundreds of towns/villages on there. Lots of roads. Unfortunately I don't have a paper map to compare to..

It wasn't so much that the CD was marked upgrade, it was a specific upgrade for a 2620 only, not suitable for Quest (I tried it).

I decided to phone them instead of e-mailing... It must be better ...

CN 8 arrived today.. (see previous post in this thread about me registering products)

Guess what.. it's an upgrade disc for existing an CN installation, marked as being 'for use with Steet pilot on ...

Unless I'm missing something, CS Europe has disappeared from the Garmin map updates site..
