If you use the SCBD camera database for Europe, all the files can be downloaded as one set of files. You choose which countries you want to include in the set (Ctrl Click) and leave out the countries ... |

Certainly don't need 100/country, but I'd certainly want more than ~17/country. (6-7 countries visited on the Europe Map). There are ~8 speed indexed S-C POI's for a start.

So it looks as though for me, I'd be better off with the seperate 'Country Maps' giving 100 POI's for each country.

So is that 100 POI's per 'Map', or per SD card.

You download the map from the TomTom site to your PC.
Then buy a blank SD card that's big enough, copy the map to it along with a copy of the system software (free download). TomTom send you a pro ... |

I've had the MoWE, (up-dated discs in June) and have used the Spanish map for a couple of trips, but not for locating hotels etc. Seemed to work fine even in the hills, with small roads.

M-Y, depending on what, and how, you want to do it, I find it easier to make your own POI's solely on the TTGO rather than compile it in notepad, or whatever, on a PC and then convert with make0v2 or ... |
