Solved! Answer is I don't get CoPilot Central.

Instead, I was given a link to download the new maps without CP Central. Big hassle, but done now.

I bought CoPilot Live 7 via Handango UK. Downloaded it, seems to work.

Next I bought the Pan-European map from ALK site, paid for it.

Using the link ALK emailed to me, I see this:
