Hi All,
I have just installed the above unit in my car, and the problem I am
having with this all singing and all dancing piece of kit is.
Is there an easy way you set up a route on it with itineries using Navgate Feeds on a computer
Also does anyone know the software that Pioneer use for the system ie Garmin or Tomtom etc.
Cheers |

Few factory fit systems support itinerary, I've only ever seen one.
No idea what the 'Navigate Feeds' you refer to are and the software is Pioneer's own, it is not related to Garmin /TomTom in any way.[/list] _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren,
This is not a factory fit system, this is an aftermarket system that can be fitted in any car with a double din.
the Navegate Feeds is a program that can be downloaded from Pioneer to run on your desktop pc, there is also a version available for the Iphone.
The Navgate program can be used to create your own custom POI's, there is also a link on it to Google Maps.
The POI's can be saved to an SD card and transferred to the unit in the car
As far as creating itineries are concerned I think it can be done on the unit itself, its just that I dont want to sit in the car for hours in the garage in the dark in the cold on my own playing with it.
Another annoying feature is that in my car, to play with the unit I have to have the ignition switched on |

Yes, sorry, dunno what I was thinking of there!
Can't help with the NavGate query, perhaps another owner will be able to. _________________ Darren Griffin |
