Should TT2 work ok with the original XDA? I have loaded the app ok but the XDA seems to have loads of trouble accessing the maps on the card. I thought the problem was with the card but have since had the same problem with another card. I am begining to wonder whether the XDA is "man enough" for the job. If it is, can anyone suggest a reason why the maps can't be accessed? (I've switched off the infra red beaming facility per the recommendation in a previous post).
Thanks,
David |

The XDA is man enough (has the required processing power). But I remember something about the need to update the ROM on the XDA to fix a card driver error... _________________ Lutz

Have been using the original XDA with TT2 since last August, and now with TT3. I have the wired GPS and the XDA in the TomTom XDA mount hard wired into my Vauxhall Omega. The mount is attached to the bottom of the off side windscreen and the GPS sits on the cente of the dash close up to the screen.
The UK maps, Uk Post codes, plus 12 other assorted POI files are on a 256 mb SD card which i bought from a local supplier, Novatech for £49.00.
The only problem I have had was with the TT3 GPS bundled driver keep dropping the fix, re-installed the 2.07 version and it's fine now. _________________ Graham.
