Anybody know if it is possible to configure TomTom One series to allow visual speeedcam alerts but suppress the associated sounds, at the same time as allowing nav instructions ?
In other words silent speedcams without shutting off the volume control. |

It is probably possible to do by adding a silent sound that can be selected when configuring the warning sounds for the database, are you using the TT safety camera database or the PGPSW Speed Camera database? as this will make a difference to the method to achieve what you want - Mike |

Mike
Thanks for quick response. I haven't actually bought the TT yet because I wanted to make sure I could get this feature set up. But I intend using the PGPSW dbase. |

I don't what it is, Mike, but just got another new member at TTF (A Brit), asking about associating sounds with speed cameras. I provided him with a link to yesterday's thread you were involved in and, hopefully, PGPSW will find up with another subscriber! (especially when you see the advice Tom Tom gave him .... )
I just don't understand how these guys are finding our forum but not this one to ask the questions? _________________ David |
