My son has called me and says he has "Safety Lock Enabled" bottom left of Go 520 screen and can't operate it.
I can find no reference to this, can anyone help?
Thanks,

All I can think of is to go to Change Preferences/ Safety Preferences and make sure "Hide most menu options while driving" is de-selected - he will have to do this when not driving - Mike |

Thanks Mike, so you have not come across this before.
The device was locked and so could not be operated, he has just called again and after three goes with the reset button this message has cleared and the device is working again.
I have tried to get my 520 to do it and can't reproduce it, so I tried this forum.
Looks like another of TomTom's foibles!

The irony os that recently I did a rare thing and cycled to work across London. Some familiarity with the route meant I could make do with sound only and put the device in my coat pocket but with no screen lock I rerouted to somewhere up north several times :-) Would be a handy feature to have as part of the default OS IMHO. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
