After many problems updating my RAC 200E I have today replaced it with this unit.
I have seen the 14 page thread on updating but am confused.
Can I just follow the instructions to copy the files into the map directory ?As I have checked and do not have the manage POI functionalitymentioned to turn them on etc.
Do I remove TT files first ?
Which download type is recommended ?
Any Help gratefully received. _________________ Regards

You can follow the instructions for all One units here. Though the "3rd edition" doesn't have the "Manage POIs" options, I understand the "Warn where near" option is available on page 2 of preferences (unless I'm missing something in the first post on the 14 page thread).
Please remember to backup first though (number 1 on the FAQ).
It's up to you if you want to remove the TomTom cameras. At worse, you'll get double warning on the cameras it actually knows about. I'm unsure exactly how this is done on the 3rd edition though.
Personally, I'd go for the speed zoned version of the database as this gives the most details about the cameras. It takes aa bit longer to initially set up but it just needs doing once. (backup again afterwards as the settings are sometimes lost at random).
Anything else, feel free to ask. _________________ Gerry
