Hi All, Just wanted to let you all know that you can buy a 2 GB Sandisk SD card for £7.49 from Morrisons. I bought one today and just thought i would let you know as i thought that was cheap although someone might know of a cheaper one . _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

Hi if1977
Seems cheap enough but is the read speed sufficient?
I was looking to buy a card recently.
TT customer service recommended at least 10mb/sec. Looking around I noticed a vast difference in read/write speeds
Have you tried it yet?
I've just bought a 2 gb card (on Amazon) via a link on this site. Reads at 20mb/sec (x150).
Works fine. Think it was about £15

I have it in at the moment and it works great. I am not sure of the speed etc as the standard package it comes in does'nt tell you but it works. I allready had a 1 GB sandisk card i was using in it as the origional SD Card was at TT for repair and was working OK so when i seen the 2GB in Morrisons for £7.49 and was the same type of box and the SD card was the same exept a 2 GB i said what the hell. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

I bought a couple and they seem to cope with the speed required to use the video function on a digital camera
If they are not on show ask for them because they were not on display at my local store but when I asked they opened a drawer with plenty of them in it
( perhaps they are a loss leader and the manager is reluctant to let too many go ) |
