New guy, new 920T unit, new to GPS. After reading the pdf manual several times I still can't figure out how to place and move the cursor on the navigation screen. I can see the "cursor button" and get the menu for all the great things I'd like to do with the cursor but can't find the cursor. Where is it? How do I get it on the navigation screen? How do I move it on the screen?
Thanks.

You can't.
there's nothing you can do on the main navigation screen.
I'm guessing the cursor they are referring to is the one you can place on the "BROWSE MAP" screen (tap screen / forward to page 2 / top row middle icon).
Tap anywhere on that screen and you get a round blue cursor. Then tap the button at the bottom with the same symbol and you can do "all those great things"! |

Hey, terrific, you are THE MAN, as they say. Thanks, I'll check that out if my wife manages to get back with our take out dinner. First thing she compalined about when she got in the car was the fact that she can't see over the unit where I placed it on the windshield. I'm 6'3", she's 4'10", guess I'll have to come up with some kind of compromise that will work for both of us. Thanks again.

I bet you're used to "compromise"! (or shouldn't I go there? ) |

We've been married 34 years, so yes, I think you're safe to say I know a thing or two about compromise.
