Can't you just save it as a favorite? _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

When you are at the place, call up the menu, and click on "Add as Favorite", then click on GPS Position", or if you are not at the place, click on "Point on Map", find the place, and click "Done, or add the position as a latitude/longtitude, you will have to get the lat/long from a google map or whatever. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

I think when you are at that place you can save the latitude/longtitude as a point of interest, that what I had to do for the nothing in-laws house in Ireland _________________ TomTom Go 700,

If there's no postcode or address, is there a road? If there's no road, ie, the tomtom thinks you are in the middle of nowhere, it will be confused about its location and will no be able to direct you to that point again. |

To save as a favourite:
Tap screen / Add Favourite / (next page) / GPS Position
To save as a POI:
Tap screen / Change Preferences / (next page) / Manage POI / Add POI / (choose the category) / (next page) / GPS Position
If you can't see any of these options, you need to find "Show all menu options" in the Change Preferences menu first.
If, as Deus thinks, you may be off-road, then the positions can still be stored, but the unit MAY say "no route possible" when you try to navitate there. If this happens, just "Browse map" to the Favourite or POI, move the blue cursor to the nearest road and select "Navigate there" from the cursor menu. |
