I run tt6 on my ipaq 2795 with wm5 with no problems.
Recently I have needed to get a post code 'back out' of the programme but I have been unable to find out how to do this. Is there anywhere in the programme that I can access the actual post code that I put in, rather than just where the location is?
Thanks

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve.
Do you mean that if you look in Recent Destinations, you want to see the Postcode listed?
Or do you want to input an address, and have a Postcode returned?
TT will do neither of these, which is why I am puzzled.
Perhaps a little more info will help. _________________ Richard

Sorry. I did wonder if I was being a bit vague.
Ok. I put a postcode into tomtom. Tomtom got me to my destination. A couple of weeks later I needed to know what the postcode was for my travel claim form. But I hadn't written it down. I tried to see if I could access it in any way but couldn't find any way to do this.
So more in the way of looking at recent destinations (also POI because I saved the postcode as a POI) to see if the postcode was still listed anywhere.
By the tone of your post, it doesn't seem as if this is possible.

Unfortunatley, in your case, it can't be done.
If you have the address, or the co-ordinates when in Browse map, you could use www.streetmap.co.uk and then be able to get the Postcode from there.
Below the Map is a Link to more details - Click here to convert/measure coordinates
If you need the Postcode on a regular basis, I would consider putting it into the Name of the POI when you use Add as POI. ;) _________________ Richard

Another very handy website is www.royalmail.com for getting addresses and postcodes. _________________ Dennis
